After more than a decade working directly with business owners, she set out to simplify how money works inside a business by bridging the skills that create a strong financial foundation—from hands-on operational finance to strategic planning—under one system called CORE. When money stops holding business owners back, they can move forward with confidence, clarity, and control.

For over two decades, Steve Richardson has led several businesses and non-profit organizations, specializing as a turn-around management consultant and interim CEO to for-profit and non-profit organizations. He has led numerous seminars and workshops on crisis/change management, leadership, board management, and maximizing organizational effectiveness. Steve is also the author of “Become a Better Leader in 30 Days,” a veritable training manual for understanding the most effective principles of management leadership.
Steve is partnering with CORE to provide fractional CFO services, including forecasting, cost management and general organizational/business advising.

Juan Bravo de Rueda
Juan Bravo de Rueda is a CPA licensed in California and Florida with over 20 years of accounting experience and more than 10 years specializing in small business accounting and taxes. He has held accounting and managerial roles at large companies, including GE Peru. Now running his own firm, Juan focuses on comprehensive accounting and tax clean-ups and collaborates with other CPA and accounting firms, such as CORE, as well as larger organizations. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Nathan Shields
Nathan Shields earned his Master’s in Accounting in 2008 and has been a licensed CPA since December 2009. He began preparing taxes in 2006 while working alongside his father during his undergraduate studies, and later gained experience at a local CPA firm where he worked for nine years.
Nathan has worked with clients across agriculture, retail, and professional services, and went on to spend about eight years in private industry as a controller and CFO. In the summer of 2024, he returned to public accounting full time. His background in both firm and in-house leadership roles gives him a practical, business-minded perspective that sets him apart.

Anna Tuyet Phan is an attorney specializing in tax controversy and complex civil matters. She regularly represents individuals and businesses in disputes with the IRS and state agencies, and appears in courts throughout California handling litigation, compliance, and procedural advocacy. She currently serves as lead tax attorney for three law firms, overseeing strategy and resolution in high-stakes tax matters. Known for her precision, strategic thinking, and client-focused approach, Anna brings clarity and persistence to complex and high-risk legal disputes.
